Uniform

As part of the transition to Outwood Academy Portland all new Year 7 starters are issued with a free bundle of Outwood uniform, consisting of:

• 1 blazer

• 2 white shirts

• 1 pair black trousers or skirt

• 1 tie

• 1 PE rugby top

• 1 PE polo top

• 1 PE shorts

• 1 pair of PE socks

By now, all uniform bundles should have been ordered through the Trutex links that were on the school website. Trutex have since sent us a list of prospective students that have ordered their uniform bundles, those that have not ordered will have an order completed by school. The size of uniform may vary as information will be estimated from information obtained from primary schools. If the uniform does not fit, we do offer two exchange events where you will be able to swap for the correct sizes.

We will be holding our uniform collection session on 9th August 2022. Parents with uniform to collect should follow the timetable below to see their collection time. If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact the transition team at transition@portland.outwood.com. Please note, this is only for students joining in from Year 6 into Year 7.

The event will be held in the school sportshall, so we ask parents to enter from the Netherton Road entrance to the school.

It will be necessary to manage this day carefully to protect everyone so please ensure that current social distancing measures are adhered to where necessary.

Please be aware that this process will only be for the free uniform bundle and additional uniform that you wish to buy will need to be purchased from Trutex online or a local stockist as usual.
